So I met up last week with a girl I met online for a a few drinks. It went well I think, good conversation, physical contact (initiated by her), and a kiss goodbye (also initiated by her. I think). She said "let's do this again" and texted me that she had fun a few minutes later. Didn't hear anything from her the next day. Day two I asked her out again (for this weekend) and she said it sounds good but the exchange was very business like. Maybe I'm just use to girls who like to text (sometimes to excess). Maybe she's just busy. Am I overthinking her brevity in contact?? Should I refrain from contact until the day of/day before the date unless she initiates?

Yeah, refrain from contact until you see her again.

She just might have lost a little bit of the zest from the first date which is fine.

Next time, try recalling a funny moment you have. or tell her something that shows that you remember her. Like tell her, "Say hello to your dog, for me". Or "I hope we get a waiter, like the one we had before".

Let her recall something about you.

But for now, just talk to her, when you guys are going out
