Crono69 Posted February 5, 2005 Posted February 5, 2005 My friend and I been fighting for the last few days over little stuff and said we dont do much together. We are around eachother quite a bit but it usually is just at my house and she goes on my computer for hours. So she suggested we go to a movie today and I didnt say anything so she said that it wouldnt be a date, just going as friends. I said if were just going as friends, then I dont wanna go. She said "What?!" (I could see a slight smile on her face) "What does that mean?" I said I meant nothing and told her bye cause we were at her house. Then she asked why Im trying to get rid of her and I kept saying I meant nothing so she got out and said "Do you still wanna go?" I said yes obviously. So we went and I paid for the tickets and dinner at wendys, lol! I only had $20 dollars! Since I was broke now she bought me a drink at the theatre (awww, how nice) We were watching the previews and it showed this movie Contsantine I think with Keanu Reeves and she said "We should watch that movie." Hmm she included me in it instead of saying what she usually says which is "I wanna watch that movie." The thing is, we been friends since the beginning of this school year (september) So it was hard to do Bf/Gf stuff like just hold her hand, I really wanted to but I couldnt bring myself to do it. It was still nice being with her even though we watched Phantom of the opera (does she accually hate me or something? lol) At the end of the movie I asked her what she would have done if I walked out on the movie and she said she probably wouldnt have noticed because she was so into it, but I kept seeing her check to see if I was asleep, lol! Why was she checking on me? She also said I was being annoying because I kept moving.... but in a happy way, I guess.. ( i just hate sitting in theatre for 21/2 freakn hours!) Anyways, the relationship between us still felt the same, but a little more happier between us now and we werent arguing anymore. So would you consider her my Gf or what? Im confused. If you think we got something then Ill try some moves on her next time, later!

The only way it can progress is if you ask her directly. Or, you can try kissing her on the lips at the end of your next "date." See what happens.

And what about her including me next time she wants to see a movie, in fact she even said after the movie "Next time you can pick the movie."

NEVER assume. I think this is called 'seeing each other'. I'd go out on a few (say... more than 4) dates before you venture into gf/bf land. Dont' chase her away by moving too fast... trying to get to intimacy by skipping the good parts is no fun. Trust me on this! Relax... go out..date... have fun. TALK. Next time you go to a movie, or even if your just hanging out, slip your hand over hers. If she holds your hand, you're golden. If she pulls her hand away, I'd back off for a bit-- she probably just thinks of you as a friend.
