Thought many of you would find this helpful. Perhaps print and post on your refrigerator door so it's handy when you make your shopping list.

It's always been my theory that most health problems, mental and physical, could be solved by eating properly or taking supplements instead of pharmaceuticals. No side effects and much cheaper.

Just please, please, please, don't self-medicate with supplements without getting your levels checked by a health professional.

Some supplements - like iron, do have side effects. Also, you could be like me and assume you are taking the correct B12 dosage (didn't check with my doctor when I bought my supplements), and find out that in fact I needed to greatly increase my dosage (I was taking 250mg dosagses, I needed 1000mg dosages).

There are a lot of common ailments that can be fixed but it's also important to know what sort of deficiencies you're working with so you can properly target the problems.

Personally, I support taking individual supplements rather than buying those "catch all" supplements that might actually not be helping you at all.
