TylerDurdenn Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 First off I would like to apologies for yet another thread How would me and my girlfriend book a holiday to the same location/hotel room when we live in different countries? Would it be easier for me to book a flight separate and then communicate with the hotel and let them know of our plans? (WE WILL BE PAYING SEPARATELY) I've never done this before so as per usual; thanks for any advice!!
ASG Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Er... you book your flight, she books her flight, one of you books the hotel and voilá! Done! When I stay at hotels with roommates, we either both pay at check out or one pays the sum and the other gives their part of the money back to who paid... no need to let the hotel know of this...
d0nnivain Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 you each pay your air separately since you will be arriving from different places. One of you books the hotel / resort in both your names. You either give each other your CC info (very risky & I would not do this) or one pays & the other pays that person back (or up front if you aren't the trusting sort.) I suppose you could try a conference call with the hotel so you are both there to give the individual cc info.

Sorry for the stupid question, I've just never done this before!
TigerAlone Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Just pay the hotel and you can work it out in person. No need to get the hotel involved. And if shes your girlfriend you must trust her to pay you back.
