12123
In the past 6 months, I've spoken to and went out with 4 different girls, but ended up not speaking to them after a while because I lost interest. Recently, I started to become interested in an acquaintance of mine. My feelings for her are not like the previous 4; they're more genuine. It all started when I helped her get rid of a guy who was annoying her, which created some kind of friendship and bond. She also knows about the 4 girls I was talking to. After a little while I realized that we have a lot of similar interests, views, and life style, yet she's completely different than I. She concentrates mainly on her schoolwork and is book smart, while I'm more of the clever type to figure things out on my own. I fit her description of a great guy, and she fits my description of a great girl. She's a really good looking girl who, I'm pretty sure, has to deal with a lot of guys trying to get at her. When I text her, at times she seems very interested, and at times she wants to cut the convo short. She's also a slow texter. She jokes around with me sometimes, like saying she's dating the guy who tried to play her, just to get me a little upset (or jealous). I recently casually asked her out to a date, but she merely said "I'm not sure" to it, and continued on being friendly. I've been confused for a little while now, but am not sure what to do now. I want to move on and forget about her because I'm not a fan of these stupid games, but at the same time, I don't want to move away from her because she might be a girl who needs time to develop some sort of interest. What should I do?
