Do women stare at guys who are freakishly tall?

I'm 6'5. When i go out i notice i get a lot of attention from women. I don't dress weird, and i think i'm pretty average looking. Maybe kinda good looking, but definitely not something girls should be turning their heads for.

 

But girls always stare at me. Much more so then guys too. Its normal for a guy to take a second look just because of my size. But i notice girls will keep looking. Some will even go as far as to stare me down after i've made eye contact. It makes me feel really self conscious and awkward about my height. Are they staring at my height? Or are they interested? Is it normal for girls to stare at guys who they think look freaky?

 

 

And does being tall automatically make you more attractive? When it comes to college aged girls i get more attention from girls then my more attractive friends.

I feel rude staring, so I don't stare, even if I want to. And I especially wouldn't stare at someone if I found them to be "freakish"

 

I find myself attracted to tall guys, even if they're not exactly the best looking lol. These women are probably interested. Just my opinion.

6'5 is not freakishly tall. It's just regular tall.

 

And yes, tall men are automatically more attractive.

I also stare at little people (midgets) but I am scared of them. No joke. Perhaps I had a bad experience when I was little or something.

I do tend to notice tall people (men and women), but I don't stare at them. For some reason, my preference is medium height men though. But it's a matter of taste, some of my friends prefer a very tall man.

Yes, some women would. I guess its that whole "he can protect me" thing. That's why really tall guys date tiny women. That way they feel more manly and the women feel safe etc. Now for a quick rant- I am tall for a woman 5'7. When I see a tall man they are usually with some girl 4'11 or so. It sucks. One of guy friends told me it's because small women are more flexible in bed. Whatever, what happened to liking people for who that are...just saying.

Tall people are easily noticed. Many women like taller guys. As Joangel mentioned, women feel a taller guy can "protect" them. Taller men are more imposing than average height men. If the women are staring at you, it usually is because they are attracted to you. Also 6' 5" is not freakishly tall. In addition, I've also noticed more tall men with short women (4' 10" to 5' 5"), than tall women. This leaves the tall women to compete with short women for a tall man.

My teen son is 6' 6.5". He gets loads of attention from both sexes. It's not sexual, he just stands out.
