roger136913 Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 My Son called me today, as we talked he mentioned how his Mother had a problem getting something to go on her Ipad, so she went to the Istore and they took care of her. Then he said she was doing real good. I said cool, I said ok have a good trip love you then we hung up. I never had so many emotions from so many directions hit me so hard. I can honestly say, a small piece of my heart died. To not feel needed, was like a mule kicked me in the chest. I have always been a great thinker, I can't think anymore and my brain wont turn off, Way too old for this crap. LOL
smileforelena Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 hey roger i hear what you are saying...i dont know if it will help but you did not just lose them they also lost you. so whatever it is they have to do to get by without you they will have to learn how to do it themselves. maybe if you look at is as you allowing them to be independent it might be easier to accept. hang in there.
d0nnivain Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Somebody wrote a song about it . . . . I Can't Get Over You Getting Over Me. Be happy that you have the kind of relationship with your son that he can be honest.
