JANIE2406 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Hi guy, I am planning on asking the guy I have been dating for three months to be my boyfriend. We already slept together many times and I was introduced to his family. He called himself my boyfriend during Easter and I simply did not ask him or made any comments about it. Talk about missed opportunity. He makes me nervous sometimes. Now I am thinking that maybe he thinks I am just playing with him because he is acting a little distant. How should I ask him in a very laid back manner to be my boyfriend? how would you feel if a girl asked u? thank you.

Hell, he may even already legitimately assume he is your boyfriend. Frankly, it seems in this particular situation it may be as easy as saying something like "How about we make this official?" or "Hey, I was thinking..."
angel.eyes Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 ...I was introduced to his family. He called himself my boyfriend during Easter... He's already labelled himself your boyfriend and is acting like a boyfriend. Maybe on your next date smile and comment that this past weekend was wonderful because he called himself your boyfriend. You're happy to be his girlfriend. I don't quite see the point of asking him to be your boyfriend AFTER he's already labeled himself as such to you and maybe others. 1
KatZee Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Do not ASK him to be your boyfriend. Let a man, BE A MAN. What you can do is bring up a conversation. "Hey, I've had a great time dating you for the past three months, I would like to continue to see where this can go and perhaps take it to the next step... what do you think?" Let him clarify this for you and let HIM decide to make it an official relationship.
