My wife has a male friend from work. They get together for lunches etc. He recently took her out for supper to celebrate her birthday. he gave her a stuffed frog (when they first met he had showed her a frog he found in the warehouse) & a mushy card that talks about how loving she is. Has he crossed the line or am I being paranoid?

Kermit's d*ck

That's an old one but a goodie.

Re: the stuffed frog, it's not really draw the line territory, but I would just point out to wife that evening dinner and stuffed toys are moving from work relationship into date relationship territory, and that you are uncomfortable about it. You don't need to justify why. You are uncomfortable and that's that. You can then judge her, by how well she respects and prioritises your feelings.

Any one of those things (except the loving card) would have been OK.

Male friends are OK.

Birthday wishes are OK.

Sharing a meal (as long as it wasn't a romantic restaurant) is OK.

A stuffed animal is approaching not OK but by itself isn't all that bad.

Together, they add up to a problem. This guy is romantically pursuing your wife & she's not drawing clear boundaries.

I thought this was about the old arcade game Frogger. :(

Hmm, PacMan, Galaga, Galaxian. I want to go back there!

Ms. PacMan was the best.

Has he crossed the line? It seems they both did. Why is he taking her for dinner and not you on her bday?

Mushy card? Stuffed animal that's symbolic of things? I mean really mate, what other evidence do you need to get a handle on the situation?

She was her date for her birthday dinner, bro. Shows where you stand in the pecking order, huh?
