letmoc Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 This happens to me all of the time. I don't think I have had an ex who didn't try to come back. Just chalk it up to you being awesome and consider it a compliment. Most relationships are in the past for a reason.
Phantom888 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 People don't change. Especially men who are used to fooling women. 3
soccerrprp Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 The few times we were in contact he never told me he was seeing someone, if I ask how's his love life he says it's none existent, he's waiting for me. He would not dine and wine me lol, he's not that type of charmer. He's a kid in a man's body, he's a gentle idiot, he would probably take me to a field to show me his latest remote car lol, lets say he is different, and I found that difference attractive, I still do to a point. Most guys will lie about whether they are having a relationship so that they can have their cake and eat it too. So, you thought being treated like a after-thought was better than being wined and dined? NEVER heard another woman ever say that. I mean, he took you to places where HE wanted to go, but didn't want to spend money dining you. Hmmmm, sounds different alright. Sorry, but sounds like a guy who didn't want to spend money on you...ugh. Point is moot...you have moved on beyond him.
Author Gaeta Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 I am not like the average woman. I do not enjoy restaurants or wine. I do not feel valued because a man brings me to a restaurant or spend money on me. I have been sick with a strep throat these past 3 days - fever and all. Last night my boyfriend drove 50km after working over time to check up on me, brought me my favorite ice cream $4.99. Changed my bed sheets, took care of my dog, then lay in bed next to me, risking catching it. $priceless. That is worth 100 restaurants to me I got stunned by this morning text but got half my head back on now. 3

Ended up catching laryngitis from her, but it made it all the worthwhile just being with her and seeing her get better. 1
