Nattie Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 1st time snooping through his phone, 2nd time finding throw away phone, 3rd time overhearing a conversation we were having, his phone butt dialed her, and 4th time some of the same. However, I want to add, nothing on the phone or conversation was full proof evidence that I was the OW for 8 yrs. Holy smokes she's a forgiving woman.
RonaldS Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 My XW had been accusing me of cheating on her pretty much from Day 1 of our relationship. I never had, and never even considered it. But she would hack into my email, FB, phone, bank statements, whatever she could get ahold of.....constantly. Constantly cornering me with sh*t like, 'Is this her?!' when she would see a new number pop up on our phone activity (which she monitored online non-stop). It would always be a new client or a contractor I was working with. I was probably accused of cheating 100 times in 11 years. Never even came close. That behavior, combined with a whole bunch of other crap I had to put up with (not the least of which was that we had a totally one-sided relationship), helped me get to a point where I had no desire to be in the relationship anymore. Strangely, I didn't want to leave her, per se. We had young kids. But it was unbearable. So, I began an EA with a woman in Europe who I had hung out with a little prior to meeting my wife. She contacted me first, and then we just emailed each other a lot. Had one or two phone conversations as well. Made no plans to ever meet up, but still talked about how nice it would be. Fairly light EA, as 90% of it was just us bitching about how bad out respective relationships were. Anyway, I got to the point after a month of this where I didn't care anymore. I left some evidence around for my XW to find. She found it, and as I expected her to do, left immediately. And that was that.
roger136913 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 My Wife got a call from a stranger, then called me at work to tell me. A neighbor had to have used a scanner to hear my calls. The day my Wife found out I had the number changed that morning as I got a call from someone telling me what they knew. Stupid me called on the cordless phone and got a new number, did not dawn on me someone was listening to a scanner and hearing me. After I got home I admitted to it...
