In addition, I'm in my homecountry and you definitely earn less there. Thee is no future for a better paying job (besides call centers, which I'm already hating and want to get out of it already) unless you graduate from college and get a degree and I'll be done with college sometime towards autumn of 2015.

Sometimes I speak to my ex bf but as friends. I have no intentions of getting back with him. Anyway last month, he called and was literally asking for $100 because something he own and was waiting to get paid. Off course I politely declined but seriously, who even ask for money just like that, esp to an ex gf that isn't in the US???

No, I'm not poor but I ain't no Liliane Bettencourt either. Personally, I find it very rude to be asking anyone to lend you money. I don't know if this is now growing. That suddenly, certain men like him are now asking us for money. My father is kind of old-fashioned on this area and he found it disgusting that he would ask me for money.

Because no one else will give it to him and you are still in contact.

What other reason could there possibly be.

True. No one gives $100 from one's hard work just like that and believes in the ''Don't worry I'll pay you back'' phrase. Either way, that must be very embarrassing; to be making a long-distance phone call and asking your ex gf for money.

I would just say no, like you did, and leave it at that. Who knows what his real intentions were.
