Generally, when you first met them, what was it you noticed that immediately drew you to them?

We just met a few weeks ago from OLD. We texted for about a week. She was fun over text.

Immediate impression when we first met, before she spoke? Tall, blonde, thin, the way she dressed, sexy, great body, she had a form fitting shirt on and tight jeans, so her breasts and her butt/legs, wow!. Once we started talking? Intelligence, her smile, her laugh, how engaging she was, that she talked with her hands, her raspy voice, her life story, her passion for her work.

Most recently? She told me she won best bod on the beach when she was 25! I now know why!

Her passiuon for our city, which is her work, she's incredibly intelligent and the way she can carry a conversatuion turns me on. I watch her talk to people and just think "wow!". She met some of my friends this weekend, invited them back to her home and she was an amazing host. She even gave them a free copy of a book she wrote and created about our city.

She squeals (not sure what you call that) when she laughs sometimes, which I think is cute. She has an innocence about her to I find attractive.

I'll add, on the physical impression, she had a cute nose and smelt amazing. Eyes too, loved her eyes. And her arms caught my attention. Damn, all of her caught my attention!

Her beautiful face. Her hair...her smile. And how she offered me some of her jelly beans (Jelly Belly) when she first saw me. This was back in high school, over 20 years ago, and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

We met online and what even made me give him a chance was that his message to me was thoughtful and sweet, he could spell and knew proper grammar .

When we went out together for the first time what drew me in was his demeanor and the fact that he was very much a gentleman and very attentive. He was also handsome and had a nice smile and the dry kind of humor I like.

My XW....her eyes. I saw her for the first time in 1999, and I can remember the way she looked at me like it just happened 2 minutes ago. I've never seen eyes so incredible in my life....before or since.

Even to this day, when she looks at me, I still get that little flutter.

His voice--deep and soothing. He also had a calm confidence I was really drawn to.

This is sweet, actually. Especially for someone to say about their XW who they've presumably had some very bitter/ugly moments with.

Maybe when the time is right, even if it's years down the line, you should tell her this. Sort of in the same spirit with which you've expressed it here... "This is something about you I'll never forget." It means something, regardless of where your relationship stands now.

Her Eyes!

That was twenty six years ago, and yesterday I was looking at her thinking, "What gorgeous eyes!" Big, beautiful, blue and expressive....yes, all emotions.

I have never gotten sick of them.

Lucky man. :) I'm a sucker for eyes as well.

I liked that he used proper spelling and grammar online prior to meeting him.

His deep voice over the phone.

The initial feeling about him I got, I felt excited about him.

He was tall and lean with a great butt and lovely figure (I am a little more homely these days since I stopped working out so I didn't demand nor expect a partner to have to be fit and thin like he is:love:)

I LOVE his teeth! They are very small haha. Plus he has a nice smile.

After I got to know him I absolutely love having a wonderful person as a boyfriend who treats me well.

Haha, I was 15, our headmistress brought her into our class after register, I was more interested in the sports pages of the free metro newspaper, then I looked up and damn - one look in the brightest green eyes I'd ever seen and I was a gonner!:o

She was sporting her trademark half smirk, I never told her this to this day but I nudged my best mate and told him 'right there - she's gonna be my gf'

....hahah five years later and I was right :laugh:

^ Didn't make an sense otherwise - I think quicker than I can type

I'll make sure that I say that in the next motion to modify support and visitation that I file.

Awww!!!

I'm single but can I contribute about my ex?

The openness, honesty, genuineness, gentleness, and niceness I saw in his face and smile. With one glimpse I thought "that's the kind of guy I'd like to date," even though this was about as far removed from a dating context as possible and I wasn't even sure I'd ever speak to him. Physically the first thing I remember noticing was his lovely eyelashes, haha.

I could actually say the same for pretty much every fellow I've felt really attracted to-- it's this look of openness-honesty-genuineness-niceness, makes me crazy

Sense of humor. That and the fact that he wasn't just out to get in my pants.

Shared tastes in music.

Same as we first started messaging on last.fm

If I may say, this is what my wife said attracted me to her. She liked me because I looked so kind. I never understood why that was an attractive feature. Later she said when she saw how well I listened to her, she was smitten.

Good thing...because I lost the hair and young looks along time ago!

Her kindness/patience with me because of how nervous I was on our first few dates.

First thought, "wow, he's hot!"

I felt nervous :)

during our first date what really got me was just how confident he was, there was never awkward silence, he was able to keep convo flowing without a problem and he was SO funny.
