Anyways I was getting ready to head for the front door to leave, and she happened to walk out of the ladies locker room ahead of me at a pretty good pace to leave as well. When she got to the door to leave she waited holding the door open for a few seconds until I got there. I said thanks and she smiled at me. Should I have introduced myself and told her my name? I just found it kind of odd she'd stand there waiting for me since I was way behind her.

When you fancy someone you look for any little thing to hang hope on. Its possible this girl does think the OP is a 'bit of alright' and that her striding ahead and waiting to hold the door open, is part of a ploy to get herself noticed and give an opportunity for some chat up. He could be reading it right, but also reading too much into it. If he finds her cute, then its a good thing, and he should try time it so he can strike up a conversation with her at the water dispenser, at the lockers, between sets if she is nearby or when they are leaving at the same time in the near future, and see if he can get some good vibe from her and play it from that.
