mowjow Posted February 3, 2005 Posted February 3, 2005 Hi there. I just need some really quick advice.. Ill make this story short and simple. Today I just found out that my gf of 4 years(now my ex), we were together since we were 18, had a fling with someone.. on her birthday(monday). And the reason behind this fling is that because the day before I told her that i wanted to go home and sleep after a longs days work. Before you girls call me a jerk and I totally deserved it, hold your breath. We were both smoking up.. its a green substance, legal for medical use in Canada, so I really forgot that it was her birthday, and did i mention, we did it together? It would of been nice to remind me that it was her birthday the next day. In anycase, the next day, i totally forgot that i told that to her, and then I called her up and wanted to see if she wanted to go to a restaurant[a nice one. not some crummy fast food joint].. my treat of course(obviously, seeing that its her bday) she told me she was already eating at Harveys(a fast food joint in Canada) with people and that she will call me back later. I called at 8, said that she was doing her homework for school. i called her back later on to see if i can still take herout. But i heard some dudes voice. So today , i confronted her with it, and she had the nerve to say that she did him because of what I said on sunday. So i pretty much dumped her on the spot and left. when i left, all i heard was this really horrible sobbing. .. i actually felt really bad... and i kinda stilll do feel bad. Ive never broke up with anyone before seeing that she was my first. Is it normal to feel this bad? should i go ahead and apologize??? I have no clue, because i still love this girl, but i dont want to go back to her because of what shes done. PS. wanna know a messed up fact. last year, she dumped me for this dude, and came back to me after 6 months.....

Not only that she's screwed around with this guy before while you two were going out. The birthday gaff was just a convenient excuse. It wouldn't surprise me if you discovered that she has been screwing around with this guy a lot more than you already know. Don't apologise for nothin' - she should feel bad. My opinion - don't get back with her, 4 years is enough time, don't waste any more.

She dumped you for this guy before..and now she cheated on you with him because you upset her? Nice..REAL mature. You dont need a girl like that. If i screwed another guy everytime i had a fight or was upset with my boyfriend at the time..i'd have dozens of notches on my belt, but a mature person doesnt react with revenge. What im saying here is that she isnt worth the pain. I know it will suck and be very hard to get over, but this girl cheated on you when you said something whilst high. If she said something dumb while high would you have gone out and slept with the girl you dumped her for and then came back six months later? Oh sorry..but you didnt do that, she did! Move on..ignore her. She may come crawling back. Dont believe a word she says..how can you ever trust her evvvvvvver again? You made your first mistake by taking her back the first time. Make a clean break and dont contact her, she isnt worth your anguish.
