Stay Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 So I'm just curious of people who have cheated on their long term SO. How did you feel a year down the line? Any regrets? Did you feel like you made mistake, etc? I'm wondering because my personal story is that I had to find out myself and I have a sense she regrets it incredibly and probably wishes it didn't happen. We were together for a very long time so it was very difficult for me. The only reason I get this sense of her realizing what she had was because she told me she compares everyone with what she had and realized there aren't many people who is what she wants. So has anyone experienced or have a story they know that people just never found the right person or as comparable to what they had and left for? I had just met with my ex and it felt good, almost like old friends catching up.. Pretty much started where we left off kinda feeling. I'm just left missing it a bit, I don't care much about the dating world. It's fun and all but deep down I do miss having someone I was very close to and spent a lot of time with.
