i.want.out. Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 So today, I saw again an old colleague at work, who had left a few months ago. I went to him, greeted him, asked about him, with a big smile on my face (I was happy to see him again, I kind of fancied him). He was also very engaging, asking about me etc, and smiling all the time to me. However, I got really busy with customers and had to go. He did not come back to say goodbye, and I don't know if I will see him again, as he is definitely not coming back to work here. I am so upset, after the nice vibe between us two, that he left so abruptly without telling me if we will ever meet again. I am upset.
Frank2thepoint Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 You did say you got very busy with customers. He probably saw this and didn't wish to bother you. This happens often, even for me. There are times I get a good vibe with a woman, but she gets distracted, and I don't feel like presuming that the good vibe could be more than just a really good conversation. Now if you do really fancy him, then I suggest take the initiative and find out what his number is. Maybe you can ask someone at work who was friends with him, or the HR department/person that has his contact information. One of my ex-girlfriends did this actually, which was a clear sign she wanted to get to know me.
