Goodgirl6 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 My boyfriend of 3 years and I broke up 5 days ago. He has a habit of threatening to leave the relationship when things don't go his way. I grew tired of this and ended it myself. Since then he has contacted me via text everyday. The first day he asked for forgivness for leaving without saying goodbye. The second day he pointed blame and proclaimed what he wasn't taking anymore. The past few days have been casual, "Hey you, wanted to say hi." Or "Hope you had a good day in class." Is this normal? I didn't initiate any of these conversations, but I have replied to some of them. Why would he do this if he wanted out so bad. I only gave him what he wanted, or so I thought...
mammasita Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Stop responding. Better yet, how about you block him. 3
KaliLove Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Yeah, that was a nasty sword of Damacles hanging over your relationship. I'm glad you ended it..forcing someone to walk on eggshells by constantly threatening to leave them is downright cruel behavior. Agree with mammasita..ignore and block! 1
