Hi all,

I was dating a girl for 2 months. It all seemed to going well, I met her parents then spent her birthday with her. A week later, we broke up.

The first month of dating was great, we went for meals , bowling, cinema, the usual. The second month we got closer so to speak and she'd spent a night or two round my house during the week. When she stayed at mine we'd always have dinner chat and put a movie on afterwards, we're both into films so I thought this was great.

The reason she finished me was she felt we didn't have more serious conversations and I felt like a friend and lost attraction. We tried again for a few weeks of just talking but in the end I still felt like a friend.

What I was wondering was, can sitting in together and watching films twice a week make her lose attraction and should we have had more serious conversations, or is it simply it doesn't matter what your dates involve, if its meant to be, it'll be?
