SpiralOut Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I can't put my finger on it. There's this guy I know. He keeps making an effort to talk to me. He's not hitting on me. I think he's just a friendly guy who talks when he is bored. I don't trust him at all. It's hard to explain why not. He has a habit of laughing under his breath while talking. And he's got this veneer of positivity. By that I mean, he acts positive about things that he clearly doesn't like. It's not a bad thing to try and stay positive, but I don't always know when he's being honest or not. He recently discouraged me from doing something I want to do, which goes against his usual "positive" attitude. He also said something odd one day while we were making small talk. me: "yeah I heard that tough mudder is more difficult than mud hero" him: "yeah something that has the word tough in it generally means that it will be tougher." (laughs under his breath) me: ........... I wasn't offended by that, but it was weird. It re-enforced my feelings of uneasiness about him. What would you call this? What word would you use to describe him?
