maybeimtheone Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 last night my girlfriend called me at work and she asked if i got her txt and i told her no. she said "Well just call after work" i eneded up getting her text a few hours later, and when i called she didn't pick up so i told her "lunch will work for me" because she asked to go to lunch in the text well today so far she has flaked. she texted me earlier but not about lunch im pretty annoyed

She called you to tell you to call her after work about lunch?????!!!! Instead of asking you when she first called you???!?!?!??! OMG. 1

Though she should be a little more forthright today with you. Looks like this could be an instance where a little miscommunication snowballs, both parties get a little annoyed and *boom* before you know it a full blown game of spite develops over nothing.

Do your texts usually get delayed between each other? And like soccerrprp said before, why didn't she just ask you to lunch on the phone? lol.. but in the grandscheme of things, this is a minor spat. The type of thing where once you talk or see her today it'll be forgotten in minutes. How long have you two been dating?
