DannoJones Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Hey, newbie here, I'm married 7 years to a Peruvian girl, we have 2 daughters together, the youngest is 15months the eldest 5. In the last 2 months I haven't wanted to have sex with my wife or be intimate with her. I still get horny, but I'd prefer to masturbate or go somewhere else. I have masturbated but haven't been unfaithful. I have toyed with the idea of finding someone new. I work 6 days a week, have done for a long time, and the time I'm home, I have spent working on our apartment. At the beginning of the year I was exhausted. I'm not a male chauvinist, but I expect, and my wife informed me that she was willing to do her bit and pull her weight. She's a good mother, but the house is left in a mess, washing is left in the machine wet, chores left undone. I try and help out when I'm around, and I would be happy to change roles with her, but she kept saying she didn't have time to do everything. I spoke to her about this recently, we were very open and honest, she suggested I go. Quite frankly I don't want to because of the children, the flat, and the amount of time I have invested in the marriage. She will definitely not go. Now she's making a big effort to be better around the house. However she's done this before, and I get the feeling she only shows improvement when I threaten to leave her. I also don't want to fight in front of the kids. I live in Peru, a long way from my family, and whilst I love the country, I feel a little helpless and lost. Finally, to cap it all, I have a disorder called meniere's disease, it is stimulated by times of extreme stress,I thought I'd seen the last of it eight years ago, but this recent episode has brought it back. I really don't know what to do. Do I stay or do I go? I'm not happy with my wife and her behaviour is not attractive in the slightest. Help please.
