arghzme Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 I know there is no real need for the dumper to do an NC. But the dumper often acts cold and insensitive towards you. They are completely indifferent (when you know that this is not their inherent nature). Does it mean that they are also trying an NC to forget you completely? I'm just trying to look at NCs from a different perspective.
David87 Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 They don't care as much as the dumpee. That's why they act this way. 4
Lalasita Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 They don't care as much as the dumpee. That's why they act this way. I've always been the dumper. All I can tell you is that when I needed to dump my BF I was already detached from the relationship. That's why I was cold all the time. 1
Kitchen Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 They become cold and insensitive because you (not saying you did this) become overly warm and sensitive. You see, there is only so much room for love and sensitivity. It's like a seesaw. If one party is too emotional by begging/pleading, the other party will become the opposite. The one who has the least amount of weight on the see-saw also rides higher up, aka has the upper hand. So lighten your weight, and get your ass out of there. Your side of the see-saw will go higher up, hopefully higher than the dumpers.
