FitChick Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Who knew? It is found in animal foods -- seafood, meat, dairy, eggs -- so vegans need to take a supplement. Interesting bit about lack of taurine causing anxiety because there was just a news blurb the other day saying vegetarians tend to be anxious and depressed. Perhaps all they need is taurine. Read and learn more. 1
Imported Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Didn't see it listed, but taurine (@1000mg) will keep you from cramping up far far far better than any amount of potassium. 1

Imported Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) Damn. My leg cramps are back, and I gave up my monsters a week ago when I ran out. That's it?! I only have information passed on from a friend and first hand experience. If you didn't know, taking clen will cause a lot of painful cramping everywhere. I am talking it will cause you to double over frozen in great pain. Maybe even cry. I use to take potassium (and of course drink gallons of water) to counter that, it didn't really work. I just accepted that I would go through pain initially till my body adjusted. One of my friends that competes in bodybuilding saw me in pain and he guessed it! Found out I wasn't taking taurine with it and informed me. It was night and day difference. Very little (clen is very bad) to no cramps. My favorite http://www.amazon.com/Now-Foods-Taurine-1000Mg-100-Capsules/dp/B0019LRYD0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1397435111&sr=8-1&keywords=taurine . Not sure how much is in Monster.
