Randa4 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I am a senior in high school and prom is coming up soon and I have no idea what to do. I really really like this one girl, I have for years, but she has a boyfriend who doesn't go to our school. Do I wait because maybe just maybe she'll break up with him and I can ask or I shouldn't risk that? Then there is this one other girl I am close friends with but were nothing more than friends. She too has a boyfriend but she said she's going to break up with him. I would like to go with her, but the thing is, a few days ago my friend said he wants to ask her and I don't want to get in between that (even though I am a lot closer to her than he is). Do I ask her anyway? The problem is that there are only those two girls that I am friends with. Don't really talk to any other girls. So if those girls don't work out, do I ask someone that I don't talk to? Would it be too weird? And one last thing, do I have to ask in a big way? I'm feeling no, but then wouldn't a girl feel kinda lowered if I don't? Thanks a lot in advance.
Pasttense Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 If the prom is coming up soon I think the probability that one of these girls will actually break up with their boyfriends in that short time is quite remote. Perhaps you could ask your close friends to ask their girlfriends if they know anyone without a date. Or perhaps you could go by yourself.
