scavengerhunt Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 my ex girlfriend dumped me last week. she said i was just to nice of a guy and came on to strong at times, and too clingy. she said she truly likes me but she needs some mystery to me i'll admit i did at times. i plan on changing though. we are still friends but i'm going to lay off on the contacting and when we do hang be a little distant. do you think this could help?

No. Why are you "hanging" with your ex? She wants mystery? Disappear and make her wonder about you. No friendship. That's what nice, clingy guys do.

chados Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 At least she was being straight honest and she actually knew what was wrong. It's kinda rare I dare say. I think you learned something. Don't give her more respect then you give yourself or a friend. She's a human being not better then anyone else. But don't think you did anything wrong cause you didn't. People just want to cling on you too without knowing you will do it first every time:) in other words. They want to need you as much as you need them.
