NiCoLe20 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 im a believer in ''what goes around comes around''.... does anyone else believe this too? anyone have any stories they want to share? ill post one.... ok my x wasnt really attentive, or never appreciated anything ive done for him. needless to say, i found out recently he hooked up w/ others girls while we were on break or just getting back together... so what happend? today he got arrested!!! hahaha good!!! i knew something would eventually happen to him. he messed around with drugs and all that b/s, lied, cheated, and lost my trust. Thats why i believe in that saying- you did me wrong so now he's screwed!! lol now he's going to be paying LOTS of fines for being arrested... i bet his life is real miserable now.. well he got what he deserved and im glad this happened!!
VirginiaBob Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 In general, no, I don't believe in what goes around comes around. Usually the one dumped is depressed and hurt while the dumper goes off and marries the new person in thier life that they left you for, has wonderful kids, buys a larger house, while you are still depressed thinking about them. Thier are exceptions though, but in general, if you are betrayed, you are the one who takes the brunt of it.
Merin Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I believe in Karma as well.. I also believe that everything good/bad/indifferent happens for a reason.. even when you cannot see the reason why at the time, and even when sometimes it's very painful. However.. I don't "wish" bad things on people.. even when they haven't done the right things for me.. maybe because again.. I do believe everything you do comes back to you eventually.
Podna Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I don’t! I don’t even understand how anyone could. People who are bad people generally have bad things happen to them most of the time, but I have known some really wonderful people who never hurt anyone and had their lives fall apart. It’s easy to look at a bad person, some POS you wouldn’t let your dog near, and say, “Look, cosmic justice!” But it’s not so easy to do when you are looking at beautiful person who gets ruined by a car accident or cancer or some other catastrophic event.

CurlyIam Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 I totally believe in it. Sometimes I'm angry and I want to pay it back to those who either hurt or take advantage of me. But I don't. Because I know that the biggest harm it will ever happen will be inflicted by themselves. They'll keep doing that and one day it won't work. So maybe they have a bigger house and a younger prettier wife, maybe even kids... Life is so unexpected! Not that I wish harm to anyone. But sooner or later it does happen, whether I'm there to see it or not.
