How to deal with someone projecting onto you?

^^While I can see that working, I don't like the idea of doing that. I am not going to humiliate someone just because they pissed me off.

 

 

Thinking on this some more, this girl said rude things to me when I wasn't even talking to her. I was conversing with someone ELSE while she sat there and listened, then she stuck her comments onto the end of the conversation. She contributed nothing to the conversation except for these little jabs at me.

 

 

From now on I will just ignore her completely. I will let her actions speak for themselves.

From my own experience, I think you are taking the right approach. With severe projection and troubled people, any and all responses equate to a win for them and a loss for you.
