We have had a mixture of low contact and no contact and met a few times in this time. Recently after no contact, we met up for a drink and she was friendly. I was pretty indifferent about her current boyfriend and even asked how he was doing, she seemed to suggest things aren't going that well and then started talking about all the guys at her workplace that she thinks like her and she would hint that one of them was really nice. I again acted indifferent and she just kept talking about them. She then said I bet you don't have many girls at your workplace (I work in IT) and when I said I had been dating a few girls she just went quiet and didn't say anything. Why is she doing this? I actually just came out to see her to talk about general stuff and be friendly, but it felt like she was trying to get a reaction out of me. Does she still have feelings for me or is she trying to suggest she has zero feelings for me now as she has all these other guys in her life?

Call me cynical, but I find most women do like to try their best to hurt you when they have the opportunity, especially after the end of a relationship. It is their most powerful weapon; while men have the brawn and physical strength, women know how to **** on your heart lol.
TaraMaiden Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Oh good grief.... Few points: She isn't Trying' to make you jealous; you ARE jealous. No Contact is the best way to go with an ex - continued contact prevents healing. If you were truly over her, you wouldn't FEEL jealous. Her actions are designed to merely see if you still have feelings for her (You obviously have!) It's just an ego-boost for herself. Read the NC Guide in my signature and implement it. Go complete No Contact until you feel completely indifferent to her. Then nothing she does will have the slightest effect. 1
