ProudLoner Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Listen closely. Txt, email, internet dating, ANY form of "technical communication", is ONLY used for logistics. That is, "when can we meet". "where". "I'm here". "what time". etc. NO conversing. No getting to know. Nothing. Just arranging the time and date. Saying you are there. Saying you are lost, what is the address again. There is FAR TOO much misunderstanding in textual communication. For example, if I say "Sure buddy" what does that mean?? I might mean it sarcastically... "You think my song really was good? Suuuuure buddy. Stop lying" Or, actually means "Sure, buddy!", as in, "Yes, my friend!". Believe me. Just stop it now. Get off. Online dating sites are meant to confuse us so they can make millions in adverssing. They don't WANT you to meet and date. Then you will be OFF the site. 1
Author ProudLoner Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 The only fear factor is safety. Meet in public. Learn to judge "correctly" who are the predators. HOW? By socializing in real life first the way we did it old school.... by SUCKING UP and hanging out with the bad boys and bad girls and figuring out by seeing them in real life who are the ones to watch out for. You will then be able to just view a pic and instinctively know who is safe to meet. Then, meet. If no chemistry, say "well nice to meet you!" and it will be OBVIOUS there is not a second meet. Speed date. But meet. In public. Make sure it's safe. But meet.
