JamesM Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 This is a good summary of how some many affairs end up IMO. So many people get into affairs expecting a fairy tales, but when reality hits, it becomes just another relationship. And then they have two people to deal with. Some find that the new person is an improvement so they want to get rid of the first. Others find that the first was actually the best, and ditch the affair. And ye others discover that instead of finding bliss, they simply added a new problematic relationship. Just a thought. And how did your affair fit into that scenario? Or is my summary way off base?

I wanted a relationship and got an affair. And, yes. While the first needed work, it was and is definitely the best. I feel as though we are now living our real life fairy tale and I'm ever so grateful to him for giving me the chance to work on our own happily ever after. 2
