My high school hosted a Blood Drive, so this opportunity gave me a chance to skip my lunch period and potentially meet new girls while donating blood. After I donated blood, I sat down in the lobby room and ate some of the complimentary food. Two tables down I saw a girl that I thought was attractive, so I went to go talk to her. I have never done this before with someone I've never met, so it took a fair bit of courage.

Anyway, we talked for a little about donating blood and random stuff in general. After about 10-15 minutes of talking, I asked her for her phone number. She said "I don't knoooow" with an expression that looked like a smile but could very well mean she's just being polite. She gave it to me though and then made up an excuse to leave the table saying, "I should probably leave to 6th period now, it's almost 7th." It was nice talking to you though!", then we parted. It's been two days since she gave me her and I haven't texted her or anything. I don't even know if it's her real number or not but I guess we'll find out. Is she even remotely interested, or did I just get brushed off? Advice, advice, advice!? Thanks!

Text or call. That's my advice. I had a girl give me a number as "just friends". Know what she said? "Well it's ok I don't mind giving my number to someone who is just a friend". Text her stop worrying just do it. If she isn't interested she won't text back, and after you text her don't wait to hear back forget that you sent one that's my advice.

If it's her real number she's probably interested. At least text her to say hi.

N.B. If you weren't in school & were a little older, I'd tell you to call her because it's more personal. You get a pass to text because it's more youthful & less intrusive / intimidating.
