Shreddedbrah Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 My girlfriend and I are on a break. We set up a date to meet up again in two weeks. Honestly the break is driving me nuts and I don't know what to expect. Basically she told me she's confused about her feelings and needs time for herself. I keep thinking that she's out there messing with other guys while keeping me on the side to come back to me if her new guy doesn't workout. I've confronted her about it and tried to break up with her but she kept on trying to reassure me that she's not gonna see anyone else and that she just needs time on her own. I honestly don't wanna take the risk of being played but I also want to make sure I'm not overthinking.

Strength in Healing Posted April 2, 2014 Posted April 2, 2014 Yeah I feel like a good 90% of the time, a girl will say this but actually mean she is trying things out with another guy. No one needs to break up to fix their problems, that's the point of a relationship -- you work through them together. You could get counseling if you cared. See this girl for what she IS, not what you thought she was. 1
