Ick you guys, I just did the worst thing!! I accidentally "liked" an Instagram photo belonging to a guy I had a crush on in high school. We haven't seen or spoken in at least 15 years...not that we talked much ever. We don't have mutual friends either. I just sometimes like to peek in and see what people are up to.

Of course I "unliked" it right away, but it probably sent him a notification. I'm so embarrassed as I'm happily married with a baby and I don't want him to think I'm some gross mom stalking him. He was nerdy in high school but I always thought him interesting and we are the same profession so I sometimes Facebook and instagr stalk him. In all honesty my last name is different and he prob doesn't even remember who I am...but what if? Ewwww! What would you think if you were a guy and some woman from high school did this to you? Do I seem like an icky stalker?

I hate to get caught like this...... :(

Ugh I just don't want to be pegged as some desperate married woman trying to stalk him. Oh we'll - maybe he'll find it flattering? Yeah right.

Well, I find it sad, after all these years, he never knew you liked him :(

well worked out in my favor as I am quite happy and wouldn't trade the life that I live. But I suppose there's always the "what if" factor...he never settled down anyway and is still single far as I know. Still handsome too. Sigh...But yes I do think about what would have happened every now and then...doesn't everyone?

No, not everyone.....

I mean I had a huge crush for 3 years for a guy who then got married.. I never think what if we were together. Maybe if he didn't disappointed me I wouldn't have got him out of my mind

But after your thread, I am worried.. What if one of these crushes stuck in my mind for more than 5 years...

I mean the other day I read a thread about a girl who still have a crush for a guy for over 10 years.... even though she were in relationship with another person...

This is kind of scary and sad......

Our fear stood in the way..... We are only left with what if or other kinds of projection
