When is the best time to ask a chick to prom? I'm always too early /too late.

Hello, I need to know when is the best time to ask a girl to prom (considering she's a friend of mine.) 3 months in advance? 2 months? 1 month?

things to consider... She's a really nice girl, not like the "preps" and stuff, and I'm planning on asking her in a unique way (writing it out w/ syrip on a pancake, for example)

I think girls start buying their dresses about 6-8 weeks out... that would be a good time to ask. I think the syrup thing is sweet (no pun intended) but I would do something else just because...well... you'll need a pancake and some syrup in order for that to fly! Just keep in mind that a girl wants to be asked but she doesn't want it to be creepy.

 

Come up with some ideas and ask some girls to rate them... follow their advice!

I remember I overheard a female friend of mine saying that she was so stressed because she wasnt finding anyone to go to the prom with her and I sarcastically said "Wait, I thought me and you were going?!" She spun around and the look on her face was priceless

 

More on topic though, Id say at least a month, and not more than two, thatd be my best guess as I honestly dont remember when my little story happened in relation to the prom.
