yokel Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I broke up with a girl two months ago. To this day I'm still not really over it, and when I see another guy so much as talking to her, I get extremely jealous. I absolutely hate this feeling and I want to get over both it and my relationship. How can I do this?
J21 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Just keep yourself busy, go work out, join a club, find a hobby, hang out with old friends. No shortcut for time I'm afraid.

Heal, then start dating again to really bury it. You're not going to move on seeing her every day.
thecrucible Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 A tip from me... Allow yourself to feel how you feel and take as much time to feel better. If anyone tries to tell you that you should stop feeling however you feel, just ignore it. However, you'll probably get to the point when you realise that enough is enough and that it's time to move on. For me the best thing is to force myself to do things during a break-up. Say even if I feel like crap, I still force myself to socialise. The best thing you can do to deal with feeling sad is to find a distraction. For me, exercise is helpful. Running has got me through some tough times. Take care now
