Broncos38 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Me and my fiancee just heard that she might be able to get social security. But we just moved into our apartment. But she might not be able to get SSI. But she doesn't have a job yet cause she doesn't have seizures any longer. They might take it away. I'm on ssdi and I have two jobs. We're in situation that she doesn't want to move back home especially we moved everything into our apartment. Its been crazy. Its just scary right now.
d0nnivain Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I'm shocked her mother let her go. But I am happy for you both. SSDI & SSI are vastly different things. They have everything to do with how many quarters you paid into the system & how much income can be attributed to you. Stop asking legal Qs on a public international relationship boardd & get a good lawyer who specializes in social security. You are both going to F-up your financial futures if you get this wrong. 1
