Chris715 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 I have a date lined up tonight with this girl I've been talking to for the last couple of weeks and have really started to like. Problem is I'm still not over my ex I dated over a year ago. My break up was really messy, I broke NC countless times making it so I couldn't move on, you get the idea. I find myself sitting on Facebook seriously considering unblocking her today to look at her profile, see what's new with her, if she's single or not. Seriously? I thought I was supposed to be past this already after (finally) managing to maintain NC with her since September. I still think about her on a daily basis. What I did wrong, what she did wrong, etc. and I realize this isn't normal at all for someone over a year broken up with their ex. I'm starting to think this is really unfair to this new girl I'm seeing. Should I cancel on her and be honest? Grin and bear it and go on the date? What do you guys think?
