So I am a huge music fan. Always have been. What I have noticed though is how a few artists really tend to sum up the major differences between male and female emotions and how they get to were they are in the relationships. The biggest for me are Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow. I tend to always wind up in these situations as I am always the guy who really doesn't care about relationships, love's his freedom, has been through some tough times, has done some damage to his reputation and is pretty rough around the edges. I've had a couple relationships that have been great but I always find the need to keep moving on.

The women in these songs tend to be like the women i've dated. They've had there heartbroken a bunch of times and tend to be forever looking and end up finding someone like myself. Someone they can try to save perhaps? Someone that gets there pain and struggles, maybe from different views but the pain is the same? Don't know how I wound up in these situations but it really is pretty cool. A couple lines from some songs that really sum up these types of situations

Collide by Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow

Male and Female Perspective on this and probably my favorite.

"Reconnected, feelin' no pain

Seeking shelter like a spark in the rain, tonight (ooh yeah)

Worn and weathered, scared to go home

We're here together, but still all alone, tonight (uh uh yeah)

And there's no need to lie, we've both been abused

The love and the pain, the cocaine and booze, now"

Against the Wind by Bob Seger

Pretty much sums up the male perspective in my case

The years rolled slowly past

And I found myself alone

Surrounded by strangers I thought were my friends

I found myself further and further from my home

And I guess I lost my way

There were oh so many roads

I was living to run and running to live

Never worryied about paying or even how much I owed

Moving eight miles a minute for months at a time

Breaking all of the rules that would bend

I began to find myself searching

Searching for shelter again and again

Fleetwood Mac Silver Springs

Pretty much sums up the female perspective in my case

Time casts a spell on you, but you won't forget me

I know I could have loved you, but you would not let me

Just a little rant guys. Unfortunately I have been a loner my entire life, running around the country working, drinking and partying, making friends only to move on, constantly running and being on the move. Left quite a few good things in my dust and didnt realize it until it was too late. The women I have ran into women who have had there heart on the sleaves, looking for the one guy who can show them what life is about, trying to move on past the scars people have left on them. Really is interesting tho how music can really sum things up and hit really close to home.

I'm sure there a bunch of you who can understand this. Hope to hear from you!
