mani81 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 So my gf feels the need to let the facebook world know about her celeb crushes. Sometimes she'll write on her wall, "I have a big gushing crush on ________. Just wanted you all on fbook to know!" or a link to the guy's page with a "<3" by it. And she's 26 years old. She has the profile pic with her and I and she mentions me now and then so I'm not feeling ignored or overshadowed ect. Me caring about this is really minor stuff and petty to care about. Though. It just seems disrespectful. Once I'm in a relationship I wouldn't think about writing on my facebook wall/twitter/whatever that "I have a crush on Shakira." I would expect my gf to slap me over that hehe. I'm just trying to find the purpose of a girl exclaiming their attraction to someone that isn't their bf via social media. What do they get out of this pointless act?
Madman81 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Try posting about YOUR celebrity crushes and see how she responds. If she doesn't mind, then let it go.
Stay Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 It's one of those trends Man Crush Monday, etc. You shouldn't take too seriously. There will always be someone better looking than you, there's nothing you could do except learn to accept it or else it'll just cause more harm to you than necessary. I'm sure you have people you think looks better than her.

I'm sure you have people you think looks better than her. If it was one of those Man Crush Monday gimmicks I wouldn't care as much. But she just does it randomly. But I'm not complaining about her having a celeb crush. I'm complaining about posting about it. Like.. what's the purpose? Yeah, I could think of some celebs hotter than my gf. Does that mean I should go on facebook and tell people about it or post a picture of Sophia Vergara with a heart beside her? Just odd. And yes, I know I'm being petty
