digger Posted January 29, 2005 Posted January 29, 2005 Shes single--(as far as i know) and cute! And probably 18-20 years younger. We were talking in my store and she asked (or i told her) a little about my divorce. She exchanged bad times with me telling me her father had died on xmas night. We then talked about dating life and i said--i havent really done it yet but im not the kind to go scope out women in a bar with a pair of binoculars...and she said (smiling) "well u never know, you might meet someone right across from this very counter". Seemed kind of convenient to me. i kinda froze for a second or 2, and then took 2 steps forward and said "Hi Im (name)". She got a kick out of it and laughed. Shes a regular but havent seen her back in 2-3 weeks. Am i feeling good for no reason?

Confused1 Posted January 30, 2005 Posted January 30, 2005 I think she was trying to tell you something and you missed your chance. Definitely ask her about the next time you see her. Maybe she regretted being so forward since you didn't ask her out right then. If she likes you she'll be back.
