I agree generally but it's not like some women are accepting of men having female friends. That is just as much of an issue in relationship.

There is nothing wrong with a girl having a few male friends. Especially if boundaries have been set.

 

But the truth is men will hit on every and anything. If a girl is even half way attractive and shows interest (even if its just platonic interest) in a man he WILL proposition her for sex. Thats why female-male friendships aren't common and usually don't work unless the girl is WAYYYY out of the guys league and the guy is too meek to make passes at her. Or the guys gay. Every close female friend that i've ever had its ALWAYS lead to fooling around.

 

And most of the girls you see with a bunch of male friends? They're either fat or ugly. Manly looking. Or they are totally vindictive and have horrible reputations and so other girls won't even give them the time of day.

 

And lol @ anyone "deserving" to be cheated on. I just love that double standard women logic.

IDK, my girlfriend has a couple of male friends - who cares. It's totally different situation than this weird orbital theory everybody keeps bringing up.

As long as your male friends understand that and want nothing more form it's ok. But usually males get the wrong idea that someday they will score.

 

If they do though, most of them won't make a move as long as the girl has a boyfriend.

 

Also, that's the guy's problem...I fail to see how it's wrong for a girl to have male friends that fantasize about her. If anything the girl doesn't even know and the guy is only torturing himself.

I put platonic in quotes because I wanted to point out the fact that when you are friends with the opposite sex someone gets the idea to become romantic or sexual at some point. Now i'm not saying that this happens all the time but it happens.

And on some level I'm sure she knew that and it was part of the reason she kept you around. If she liked that kind of thing who really knows what would have happened if you made a pass at her while you were both drunk or whatever. It's just a level of baggage and complication lot of guys want to avoid.

 

One of my old friends is obsessed with a girl he's "friends" with. She won't cheat on her boyfriend with him but lets him jerk off in front of her every now and then. It's all a bunch of nonsense.

Some men can hide it well, but if you could ever spend a day as a guy amongst your guy friends, youd learn the vast majority of them have the desire to sleep with your female self if they were given the chance.

 

Thats just how many people work (usually men). Sexual attraction plays a large role in male-female friendships. And we have all heard numerous stories of friends hooking up. Too many women are naive or pretend to not notice their orbiter male friends wanna bang.

 

Its no surprise some of these guys go poof once they have a girlfriend, or once they realize they have no chance at ever being with you.

 

Sure. But how does that make a girl who has guy friends an attention whore?

I'd surprised. Both genders are projecting in situations like this.

 

Women believe platonic friendships with male so they assume their guy friends are just friends (there's even a name for it, the friendzone!)

 

Men want to sleep with their female friends and they assume that a) they know about it and b) they would totally sleep with their male friends.

 

Remember the video where all the girls were saying "yeah both genders can be just friends" and all the boys were saying "no we want to bang them all"
