youngbutoldsoul Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 My first boyfriend of over 3 years ago and I have reconnected for almost a year. We have had sporadic communication but it's entirely platonic. It's safe to say we have both moved on (mostly at the least). In the past we dated a year long distance but being so young we never survived as he found someone closer he preferred to date but his feelings were so intense his mom and him Even looked for engagement rings for us. Fast forward and we are now in our early 20's. I still have unanswered questions in the past revolving around our breakup. Would it be awkward to bring it up? If I still want to know how should I approach it? It's not necessarily about us. I just want to gain insight on why he left me to sort of relate to my recent breakup for more understanding about the other end of my relationships
KaliLove Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 It would be very awkward and unnecessary to bring it up. Are you not over him? If you want advice on your recent break up from him why not just ask him for it, if you guys are ok with each other?

He still has a unique place for me in my heart being my first kiss but I have a harder time getting over my more Recent ex than him
