robbysurfs Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I been seeing this girl for about 2 weeks and it has been nice, we only been on a few dates together. I have not slept with her and I have only been a gentleman for the times we've spent. She is very sweet and pretty and on paper looks great. The truth is I am just not that into her and I don't feel there is a lot of chemistry. I don't want to people please and I want to choose my words carefully when telling her I want to part ways. I think she likes me more then I do her and I don't want to come of as a douche. any advice is appreciated.
HeartbrokenNewbie Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I know its tough but honestly just be honest with her... text her and tell her the real reasons why and then just go NC and move on... x be honest x Id much rather hear the real reason than wonder why a guy just disappeared x 2
mammasita Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 A couple weeks and a few dates is not a huge investment and you haven't crossed the sex boundary so there's that. Just let her know she's a great girl, but you don't see your relationship with her going anywhere. That's the truth, right.... 3
FortunateSon Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 In my post break up dating I have been facd with this situation quite often. As others have said, I find that when I am tactfully honest they appreciate that and it works out better for all parties involved.
HappyLove Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Bravo to you for being a man and letting her know you are not interested instead of going poof and leaving her hurt and confused. As a man you should CALL her and let her know basically what you said here, you think she's great but you don't feel the connection and don't want to lead her on. It's a two minute call that cowards never have the guts to do. Good on you for being honest with her I'm sure she will appreciate you not wasting her time and leading her on. 1
