Author LilySun Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 What kind of things happened Lilysun? Why do you think you were to blame for some things? Verbal abuse isn't part of a normal and healthy relationship. The person dishing it out is the problem and usually it stems from their own insecurity. Alot of name calling, emotional neglect, yelled at, put down,.generally just made to feel worthless and he just had that way of making me believe I was the problem and he wasn't. I am over it all now but I still have trouble trusting people because of it. Sometimes it got bad enough to make me physically ill...guess part of me is still kind of afraid that every man I meet will be like this...
Author LilySun Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 And btw I still haven't heard from the guy. I just don't understand why people pretend to be SO dying for your attention and then just fall off the earth. Ignorant
HappyLove Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 And btw I still haven't heard from the guy. I just don't understand why people pretend to be SO dying for your attention and then just fall off the earth. Ignorant Take a DEEP BREATH IN now blow it out. This is NOTHING honey! Wait until you date a guy for three months online who is soooooo into you, only to go poof after THREE MONTHS or MORE! If some guy who didn't exchange numbers in less than 24 hours has you so upset.... You need to STOP OLD NOW! This is nothing in the OLDing world. People will promise you the world and flake in a heartbeat. You're not built for it, step away for a bit get some counseling and maybe revisit in the future. One thing I can credit OLDing with is giving me a thick skin. The shenanigans you go through...pfft this is nothing honey!

That is why I have zero tolerance. Trust me, I'm not inexperienced with being hurt and let down. I have had boyfriends that said they love me and want to marry me.then suddenly take off. But THIS is why I'm tired of crap like this. I have lost all faith in people.
WP4046 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 sometimes what happens is people fall through the cracks. they may click someone else and forget about the other person they was supposed to call It's called in the online dating world
beach Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 And btw I still haven't heard from the guy. I just don't understand why people pretend to be SO dying for your attention and then just fall off the earth. Ignorant It's the weekend! Maybe he's home with his girlfriend or wife! You'll know - especially if he pops back on tomorrow (while at work, not at home). The married men follow this pattern. Never give your number first. When they give their number - look it up and find out info using the number they provide. From my experience with this - a very high percentage of very forward men were actually married!

Heck half the time they may not even mean it but there are just too many games online to go into it thinking you won't me meeting a huge amount of flakes. For some reason when people OLD many times they leave common courtesy, morals, and integrity at the door.
