Why do girls take the first step of messaging you and then fail to make even the simplest attempt at conversation.

 

 

I.e I had a girl message me saying simply hey.

She was quite attractive and had some interests listed that were similar to mine so I messaged her back. I took an interest in her profile and asked her about things.

 

 

And I got a response back, ignoring most of it and saying I'm good, n u?

 

 

Rolling my eyes, I think to myself, why bother being on a dating site if you can't muster any effort to talk to anyone.

I've heard that women are out numbered by men on dating sites.

Perhaps because she is quite "attractive" she had numerous messages she had to reply to and couldn't be bothered writing a well thought out a message for all of them.

I used to do the online dating thing and I liked to talk to someone for awhile before I even gave them my number, let alone meet them. 1-2 weeks. There are a lot of wackos out there. She may have just wanted to respond, but didn't have time to engage in a real conversation. Just roll with it. I'm not trying to say I'm hot stuff or anything, but I would get a lot of messages and sometimes I would just respond to people I thought were what I was looking for. The responses may not have been quality.
