brittneyfoster Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 The guy that I have been dating for the last six months and I decided to part ways. I wanted more of a commitment or at least security, and he wasn't ready. He said that based on things that happened that his feelings had changed and that he wanted to "talk and chill casually" still with no expectations between us. I told him that I wasn't willing to do that at this point because I needed more from him. We haven't spoken since Saturday night, and I have been miserable in my thoughts over him. I really miss him. I texted his brother and told him that his brother and I were no longer talking but he could still reach out if he wanted. He said that his brother told him that we don't talk anymore but he didn't go into why we weren't talking or anything. I really don't know what to do, and I really miss him. Should I contact him or not?
d0nnivain Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 You already said you wanted more. You were unhappy with the way things were. If you contact him & go back together on his terms -- no commitment & just chilling casually -- he will never respect you & your relationship will never deepen because in his mind you coming back confirms that he doesn't have to do much to keep you. call him at your own risk
Sunfire73 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Nope The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 10 characters.
Phantom888 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 There is no reason to contact him. You miss him now but that will end soon enough. He wants to be casual after wasting your time for 6 months. Really lame dude. The reason he doesn't want to commit further is that he has his eyes on someone else already, or plans to pursue someone better. Typical man-child behavior. Consider it a blessing that he is telling you now versus a year later. 1
