EC Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 Ladies I need to know what pet names do you have for your husbands/boyfriends? lol I called my bf buttercup the other day and he said its a horses name, then I called him babycakes and he said it sounded silly. lol He so not fun when it comes to that.... But I'm curious what names do you ladies use? GUys too...what have you been called in the past or now?

I've been doing this since date one. He was acting goofy, trying to impress me (I knew it was long term before he even asked me out!) and I just flat out told him, "you are such a dork!"...ever since then, that's been our thing. He calls me sexy, baby, beautiful, his light...and just recently, the old lady (which coming from him, is a term of endearment...its just the way he says it). I can't wait to hear what he calls me on our anniversary. What I hope, is in a couple years, I'll be able to call him my husband. (crosses fingers)

One guy I dated, he was (his first name) Pooh and i was (my first name) Bear. Partly because of him being a fan of winnie-the-pooh, partly because of an inside joke. I think I may have been called a variety of things -- sweetie, babe, baby girl. Blech. The BOI (boy of interest) now has a nickname he made up for me that is based on my real name and quite clever. To me, it's better than any sappy pet name.
