momx4 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Hi there. I'm just wondering what it means when your boyfriend is cuddling you & he kisses your forehead while laying there. I think it's sweet & I melt when he does it. What about kissing on the cheek before he leaves? We usually kiss on the lips, but every once in a while he kisses me cheek or has me kiss his. We have been together for about 2 1/2 months & are exclusive. We are both 38.
David87 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 It's a little childish to kiss on the cheek if you're exclusive. I've never kissed my gf on the cheek. Maybe once or twice on the forehead
Gaeta Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Could it be cultural? When my boyfriend kisses me on the forehead I interpret it as being loving and affectionate. If he'd kiss me on the cheek I'd ask him what's wrong with him lol. Kissing on the cheek is for friends, not for lovers....but like I said maybe it's different for some cultures. 1

I agree it's strange to kiss your lover on the cheek. Kissing him/her on the forehead is a sing of love, affection and it's cute to
acrosstheuniverse Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I've always had relationships where we kiss everywhere. Forehead, cheek, neck, arms. As long as there's plenty of French kissing action going on too those extra kisses are a really sweet and wonderful sign of affection. They come with no sexual expectation or feeling attached, ya know? Whereas a deep tongue mouth kiss is often a turn on for both parties. While falling asleep my current bf and I are often giving each other little kisses wherever our mouths happen to be sporadically, just because we want to.
Author momx4 Posted March 17, 2014 Author Posted March 17, 2014 We do french kiss when we are intimate. We kiss on the lips at other times. He was in a big hurry to get home. He came over real quickly to help me with my van since my muffler was hanging. :/ I don't want to read too much into it, but there's always that little part in the back of my head that wonders, you know?
WrinkledForehead Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I kiss my lover on the cheeks and forehead and everywhere up and down. Forehead kisses and cheek kisses are for when I'm feeling especially affectionate. I kiss his cheek and scratch his beard and hold his face often.
Ninjainpajamas Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 When I kiss a woman on her forehead it's a sign that I'm about to leave her forever.....very soon. Just kidding... Or am I?
Gaeta Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 When I kiss a woman on her forehead it's a sign that I'm about to leave her forever.....very soon. Just kidding... Or am I? Ouf ! ! ! that hit home with me. My ex-boyfriend would repeatedly kiss my forehead at night the couple of weeks before he disappeared in another country and I never heard from him again.
d0nnivain Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I don't think it means anything. It's one more way to show affection. It is a non-sexual love being expressed but that's a good thing.
Fondue Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I don't really kiss my gf on the cheek, but I do often kiss her on the forehead. I do it as a sign of affection. She is also a foot shorter than I am, so I get to do it often.
CarrieT Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 It's a little childish to kiss on the cheek if you're exclusive. I've never kissed my gf on the cheek. Maybe once or twice on the forehead Silly thought. I am married and my husband I kiss each other all sorts of place for various reasons. He will kiss my forehead when he thinks I am asleep, I will sneak up behind him and kiss him on the cheek just to acknowledge my devotion, he will be holding my hand and lift it and kiss my fingers... A kiss - regardless of where! - is a show of affection. 2
Keenly Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I like to give cheek kisses. Its a good way to tease.
organizedchaos Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Why does evey action have to have a meaning? I know really. People question someone who shows signs of affection? just enjoy it.
