dancingsecretly Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 When I had a little too much to drink, I told this guy that he was not my friend but an acquaintance since he only ever visited my apartment for my roommate. He agreed it was a valid reasoning yet, that was the last I ever heard from him. I have since moved back to my country without having had the chance to apologize in person. I resorted to the only way I can think of, sending a package of a card with straight-out apology and a present. Still no word. Granted it was for my conscience, I would still like to be certain he meant it when he said it was fair and I didn't offend. Also, he was the one that told me a couple of weeks prior to the incident that he doesn't want to talk to me sober...
TaraMaiden Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 He obviously means more to you than you realise. Let it drop. If he hasn't responded already, he won't do so now. Let it go, forget it, and move on. I'm sure life has far more important matters for you to be anxious about, no?
